Does anyone feel the same way as I do? And does anyone else think that they can be stopped by a little commen sense on the part of the askers?

I should also say that I do not believe in god. I still agree with Obilee though, that if people are going to question these things, they should at least bother to educate themselves in a way that is as easy as reading The Bible, which you can get free easily.

That's another thing angelina.rose, the religious questions that are good definatly make this place better, and add a whole new part to it. One thing I am always careful to do though, is respect people's beliefs, and I definatly do not see myself as racist (though I do know that there are differences between races, and one is probably better than others[I really don't know or care which])

The only thing that annoys me more than the questions here with no thought put into them is the questions put here just to annoy or insult people.

katrinamcalhoun, I believe that was the story of Abraham, and it was not the question in that case that bothered me, I was actually interested in that one. In there though, it was the questions that seemed annoyed me.

I'm right with you David.

There are some decent religous based questions on here but there are loads of weird ones like the four you posted above. And the worrying thing is that people answer is so seriously!

Many people post blantantly racist/homophobic questions too and use the 'religous' tag as an excuse for it.

I agree with you. The ones you have chosen are a bit pointless. YA is supposed to be an aid to questions you really want to know the answer to not a forum and not a place where you have to sit for half an hour thinking up a "clever" question to put on.

Common sense is the one thing in life that nearly everyone thinks they have exactly the right amount of and almost no-one wants any more of. However, in reality common sense is a commodity which is in short supply. If all adults had common sense then they would have given up belief in gods and demons and spirits and whatnot when they gave up belief in Santa Claus.

I wouldn't say that those questions are meaningless. Well the first one is but that isn't religious. Most people should just bother reading the Bible once before bothering us.

Actually that last question about if god asked you to kill your loved one isnt a bad question mainly because im sure that person got that out of the bible. I cant remember names but i know one of the books of the bible talked about how this father was told by god to show how much he loved god by killing his only son. so the father was about o kill his only son but god said dont kill him you've shown your love to me by willing to kill your son. (trust me its in the bible) i cant remember where though. but yea thats where that person was basing thier question from probably. i'm curious would anyone kill thier only child if god told them to do it? i mean its god telling them to do it....
