Yes, absolutely, no doubt. You ask why? Well, I could point to a logical reason, that is, we have three choices as to our origins. We came from nothing, an impersonal being or personal being. Nothing is nothing, nothing produces nothing, therefore, the idea we came from nothing is illogical. We are beings with personality, emotions and thoughts, so the idea we came from an impersonal being is also ludicrous. The only option left is a personal being. I could point to the complexity in the universe, from the cell, bacteria and DNA molecule, which are highly complex to the beings who inhabit our planet, how perfectly designed they are for their environment. But the most convincing evidence for God would be the prophecies concerning Jesus which have been fulfilled. Prophecies written by various individuals and various times, yet they came true in the man, Jesus. Also, the nation of Israel. How the Jewish people have survived through all the killings and persecution. They have outlived those who sought their destruction. They have faced the Roman Empire, the Babylonians, the Assyrians, and the Nazis. Those regimes have crumbled to dust while the Jewish nation still survives.

Yes, I grew up as a Catholic and went to catholic school till 6th grade after that my religious beliefs were there but faltered. I began attending a Christian church when a friend introduced me many many years later, I experienced many spiritual encounters and found God again. I have found the Christian belief to be very similar to Catholic and much more explanatory. Every time I went to a service the Pastor seemed as if he was talking directly to me I heard everything I needed to hear and my life improved in many different ways. If you actually read the Bible it explains everything, as they say the bible is our manual to answers life questions, and we are only informed of what the human brain can handle. If you truly listen and try to understand it all makes sense there will always be questions and in time they will be answered.

None of the above. All I believe in is that I don't know if God exists or not so i won't bother praying to something I don't know exists or not. I don't think this will change anything though. A nice and loving God would understand me and one that wouldn't understand me...well I still did everything right then because a God like that wouldn't be worth praying to.

I don't believe in everyone elses belief of what god is or organised religion.

There are too many variations and organised religions to belive in one god or one religion without saying that all of the other religions are wrong in the process...

If one of them is wrong then they all have the potential to be wrong... Which means whatever I believe could be wrong, therefore I choose to believe in something different and not follow organised religions and know that there is a chance that I am wrong.

At least I've made my own decision about what I believe to be right and haven't been told what is right by out of date organisations and peer pressure.

For all intents and purposes, many arguments to prove there is a God, can also be used to prove there is a santa clause or an easter bunny. Why can't we seem them...test of faith...blah blah blah.

BUT, for all intents and purposes, I've never seen florida, and I'm pretty sure it exists.

My problem isn't with God, or Jesus, My problem is with "Christians" with pick and choose religion, that think that going to church on sundays gives them the right to choose who or what is "satanic" or who is going to hell. Basically anyone who hides behind religion to conceal their bigotry and hatred.

I guess I beleive in God but not religion.

I believe that till it is proven - we have no other way than to believe. I believe that the proof will always be personal.

I find it difficult to believe that the tremendous intelligence apparent in His creations - even as simple as a tree - came into existence spontaneously without anybody trying to create.

If humans like us who are so proud of our own creations and intelligence slog it out so miserably to create a simple solution like say the "safety pin" - I cant believe that a "tree" came into existence accidentally.

no, I do not belive in god, because there is absolutely no proof and all that we really got is a book written by men from over 2 thousand years ago , back when they believed the earth was flat and it was the center of the universe
