do not believe in the Bible. The Bible is a human product. different first extreme monks and rulers of the old catholic church go with which books ought to enter the bible after their own suited. some books were burned and destroyed. study a touch about the Nag Hammadi or useless Sea Scrolls. those ought to've been coated in the bible, notwithstanding the church rejected them because people ought to make sure the reality and the church ought to loose all their money. This replaced into as an aspect be conscious. Adam and Eve were not brother and sister, tehnically conversing. So, you won't be able to say for particular they commited incest. also, after Cain slew Abel, Eve gave start to their 0.33 son, Seth. After him they'd extra little ones, that's purely that they weren't pronounced in the Bible. Now, this little ones had incest, because they were genuinely brothers. i don't think of that this matting difficulty made people evil. Evil got here from someplace else. Edit: Silver Thunderbird, I congratulate you. i ought to not come to a call if I ought to element out some thing about her or not. Blessed be )O(

It does mention Adam and Eve having sons and daughters.
Gen 5:4 And the days of Adam after he had begotten Seth were eight hundred years: and he begot sons and daughters:
Incest wasn't considered wrong or against the laws of God until the Levitical laws were given. The reason it is wrong is because of the genetic corruption that occurs and has occurred over time. Adam and Eve had nearly perfect genes, no corruption, therefore their sons and daughters were able to marry and have children with no ill effect.

Adam and eve had many sons and dauhters, but only Cain, Able and Seth were mentioned by name.
"4And the days of Adam after he had begotten Seth were eight hundred years: and he begat sons and daughters:"
It is assumed that daughters aren't mentioned before this because the family line is carried through the male heirs.
"16And Cain went out from the presence of the LORD, and dwelt in the land of Nod, on the east of Eden.
17And Cain knew his wife; and she conceived, and bare Enoch: and he builded a city, and called the name of the city, after the name of his son, Enoch. " It does not say Cain found his wife in the land of Nod, but only that he conceived a son with her there. He could have lived with his wife as much as 100 years before this (more if they married before 30).
The boys and girls married their sisters and cousins etc... At the time Adam and eve were created, their genetic code was perfect. There were no mutations in it. Because their genetics were so good, it was perfectly fine for them and their offspring to interbreed. In the time of moses, however, genetic mistakes had build up to the point that there was too much risk in marrying close family, so God institued the anti-incest rule.

This question has always disturbed me too. Maybe they did commit incest. Or maybe there were other civilisations that God had created, or allowed to evolve, into which Cain and Abel married.
Also, I don't believe evolution, or other scientific theories, are incompatible with God. If He really created this world, He created physics, biology etc and He can certainly work with them! Some stories in the Bible could be metaphorical, so maybe the creation story means something else.
I don't know, sorry!

from what the good ol' bible writes..after the death of Abel, Cain went off (mayb to China) and met a women. So the bible really doesn't explain where she came from. The Bible isn't 100% accurate when it comes to science and history. But yea, it's there Gen 4:17... btw Adam and Eve had a 3rd son (Seth) Gen 4:25... the book doesn't say where these women came from.

The story is one brother went off to other lands and married. (What people?) Another version I heard was that Adam and Eve had other children who aren't mentioned because they aren't pertinent to the story. (How are they not unless one is suggesting Eve was impregnated by her sons?) By the way, incest has only become a crime relatively recently in history. It would not necessarily work to apply today's laws with stories in the Bible. Bottom line, there are way too many plot holes.
