Go to this site

http://www.192.co.uk/

Type his name in and search.

It will bring up how many they found but not give you any details unless you register. It is free to register.

You could get someone to check the electoral roll in the fife area. Try checking phone book, putting an appeal in the local paper in the fife area. Try the Trisha show on Channel 5 or Jeremy Kyle channel 3 they help locate missing family members.Try the salvation army. You could write a letter to him put in stamped envelope then write to the tax office and ask them to forward it to him. He should be registered for tax. They wouldn`t give you his address but if they forward the letter he can have yours.

Contact DVLA - if he drives - maybe they can help - but you will have to get past the Data Protection Act first. Failing that - contact the Jeremy Kyle show - they're good at finding people - and if you're not in the UK - then do something similar in the country where you live - Capesh ! (By the way someone - is that the right way to spell that - as I'm not Italian or sicilian or do they use something different)?

Go to Arbroath council and see if they have him on their records. You might bump into some one who knows him in that town, you could put up a poster or speak to people in the town and see if any one knows him. Good luck I really hope you find him. All you can do is try and try.

Good luck with your wedding hope you have a lovely day.

Before you undertake this, have you thought long and hard about why you haven't seen or heard from him in 12 years. I went through the same thing, and when you have children and are settling down you want your parents to share this with you. However, I tracked down my wayward parent and it was a disaster. He did not want me to find him, and it hurt me, my family and his.
The other suggestions of how to find him are the ways I found my dad, but just be aware that it may not turn out the way you are dreaming that it will.
I wish you every luck and success.

Wow I'm so sorry to hear about that. There are some very good sites on the net which are designed to help you find lost loved ones. Try googling it.

Also, try asking everyone you know in your extended family, there must be someone your father stayed in touch with.

I wish you the best of luck and congratulations on getting married.

Check the electoral role (try www.anywho.com) - or maybe call up the council in Arbroath - other than that you could try like BT website and search for him.

Good luck!
