Insist that he get it checked out immediately and go with him. If he raises a fuss, he's probably trying to hide something from you. He should be as concerned as you if he has nothing to hide and should also be worrying about where it came from. Don't have sex with him until you find out the results! If it is an STD of some sort, you should also get tested, even if you have no symptoms. Insist on a blood test called HSV1 and HSV2 if you have no symptoms. It's up to you what you do after you find out the results but... really listen to your gut. I wish I had.

Mama, I'm sorry to tell you but if your man doesn't come down with chicken pox by 5 PM, then he's got genital herpes.
BEFORE you get out the frying pan, however, remember that it's possible- I said just POSSIBLE- that it's from you. Many people with herpes don't show symptoms, that's why its possible to see teh symptoms in your partner before you realize you had it,too.
Anyway- you both of you need to go see a doctor for tests and treatment.

well if it has developed over night than it could be due to scrubbing hard,,,anyways better to have expert opinion
