Why would the Jews accept Jesus? Jesus was a con man. That's why they are still waiting for their Messiah. The prophesy of the Messiah is an impossible concept that is meant to give hope that an impossible imaginary friend is actually real.
Under the circumstances, I would wonder why the man who supposedly was sent to save the Jews failed to do so, and was subsequently shunned by the bulk of his own people. Had Jesus been the Messiah, and fulfilled the prophesies of the Torah, they would have gladly accepted his godhood.
Bear in mind that he was called the King of the Jews by the Romans, not the Jews. It was also the Romans who popularized Christianity by combining it with the pagan cult of Mithra.

Because Jews do not believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God! They do not believe Him to be the Saviour! Read up on Judaism - the answers are there! The answers are in the Bible - Jews do not believe that Jesus is the promised Messiah!

i imagine that this can be a very smooth problem for Jews. you word Jews lived lower than the guidelines of Moses. those guidelines were written by God to assist keep his human beings. to understand why they decide on now to not count on Christ is amazingly akin to how they could see the miracles that God finished for them even as they left Egypt and nevertheless kept turning remote from him! The Jews recognize that there's a coming Messiah. each and every of the prophets from the OT like Isaiah to Daniel etc aspect out about the lamb which will take the blame for guy. they in simple terms do no longer believe that it has surpassed off already. they're nevertheless searching for that savior. even as Christ got here they couldn't word of him because he went hostile to classic guidelines and they could were questioning that God's in basic terms son ought to maintain on with the guidelines like them. notwithstanding, Jesus's job on earth became very diverse. He wasn't despatched the following to stay like something else human beings. He became despatched to provide something else human beings. His purpose and purpose became to redeem mankind for Adam's sin. That contradicted what the Jews idea the messiah should be. In Revelation it talks about the turning of numerous those similar Jews to count on Christ. Even in the present day many youthful Jews are seeing Christ for what he quite is. Why? because we are in the most suitable days and the mild is getting brighter and the darkish is getting darker. We each and every now and then are in simple terms like the Jews that do not believe depending on the OT. each and every now and then we listen something and it is going hostile to each and every thing we've lived our existence believing. We then have a call. can we proceed to believe what we did or can we enable flow and believe what's taught. The Jews have a difficult time letting flow of that classic equipment by using the undeniable fact that's their existence.

it's a valid question.
im not jewish and im not christian.
jewish people just see things differently from christians. both groups believe with all of their hearts that their way is the right way. the roots of both religions have fundamental differences and that is why both of these large followings have had the strength to outlast these thousands of years without changing very much from their beginnings. each group believes what their parents and their parents parents believe (usually) so the tradition is deep inside of their identities.
i think because christians say christ was the king of the jews that it is not enough for jewish people to take their word for it. they know christ differently.

simply because a man (deity, son of a deity etc.) states that he/she/it is the king of the jews, does not mean that the jews must accept him as their king. being a catholic, this should be one of the basic understandings. according to the faith, man was blessed with free will. not all jews accepted Jesus as their messiah, just as christains dont follow muhammad.

Because Jews were (I guess still are) waiting for a Massiah who was exactly like Moses and Jesus is nothing like Moses. There are also many prophecies that are were clear about Massiah and Jesus did not fill.

the Jewish people were always looking for a messaiah, but were expecting more of a warrior type ( which is why they asked for the release of Barabas). They couldn't understand or accept the message that Jesus brought. They are still waiting for their messaih

Because they believe that the messiah has not yet appeared.
That is a big difference between the two faiths of christianity and judism.
