Star's right. Be yourself. Even if they don't agree with everything you say or do, you'll be genuine, and most people respect that. They will also be able to tell from how you treat your boyfriend what kind of person you're like, and how your boyfriend feels about you. Even if they don't fall instantly in love with you, many parents will decide to find what it is about the person that the son/daughter loves.
The other thing to remember is that even if you don't like the parents yourself, they are your boyfriend's folks and he DOES love them; be supportive of his relationship with them even if you don't get along with them as well.

Well first of all I don't think that you can make them love you but a good start would be just to be yourself. You seem to have really high hopes but just start out getting them to like you. Try to be at east around them and don't force anything.
Find out from your boyfriend the types of things they like and if you might have anything in common with them that you can talk about. But I cannot stress enough that you shouldn't try to force it...some people just click with each other and it really only happens naturally. Good luck!

Other then being yourself... applying yourself to parents it difficult because all parents are different. However, in general, adults just want the best for their children. Having a relaxed, yet intelligent personality, is always beneficial. Don't go out of your way to prove yourself, just listen to what they have to say, and learn from their wisdom. If they want to know anything about you... they'll ask.

well hon i am here to tell you....you cant make anybody love you it is impossible. they either like you or they dont. it is hard with bfs parents or husbands parents it will never change if they dont like you from the get go expect alot of problems as i did. just remember to be yourself be true to yourself otherwise it will come back and bit you in the ***. just be you and everything should be o.k. they either like you or they dont.....if he truely loves you he will pick you and make his parents understand that no matter what you are there to stay....hoped this helped but just remember what i said about being true to yourself o.k. everything will be fine. :)

Be attentive to your boyfriend and treat him like a prince, if he's worth it. If he's not worth the pampering, don't bother meeting the parents and move along.
If he's satisfied and feels loved and respected, it will show in him and they will see it and love you.
