Gods generally stop talking to people after report of his past 'discussions' get put on paper and published as a 'holy book'. Anything after that becomes heresy. David believed that God talked to him - Jews, Christians and Muslims believe it. Then the Jewish book got written. Jesus believed that God talked to him. Christians and Muslims believe it, but to Jews it's heresy. Then The Christian book got written. Muhammad believe that God talked to him. Muslims believe it, but Jews and Christians consider it heresy. Then the Muslim book got written. So now anybody who clams that God is speaking to them is seen as a heretic by all three faiths. After the rules are 'codified', they accept no changes. That's the way it is.

If you want to say that God is sending you a message, you have to be prepared to start a new religion. A religion that accepts progress is one that will fall apart. Like it or not.

The New Testament is more than half about what happened after the Master was crucified, and you'll notice the Master Himself and most often the Holy Spirit not only appeared but worked through the apostles and disciples and believers.
God and Yeshua Messiah promised "I will never leave you nor forsake you", and "I will always be with you" - and God does not lie. The Master taught about tearing down the Temple - the building which was supposed to teach the people God's Word but had become corrupted and a house of money/favor changers -- and He taught that You are the temple - your body is the new temple, as it carries the Word, and that we are all the children of God, who have unlimited potential to achieve what the Master showed us by example.
the influence on western civilization and 2000 years of history bears this presence out - and wrongs made right.
You are the Temple. God has never left. God works through people, as it always has been.

Correction-who's the Holy Spirit, no longer 'what'. The Bible teaches that the Holy Spirit has each and every of the attributes of personality and is no longer in basic terms an impersonal stress. In John chapters 14, 15, and 16, for example, Jesus talked about the Holy Spirit as "He". Jesus also observed the Holy Spirit because the Comforter or the Counselor (John 14:16 and 15:26). This identify conveys the techniques of advising, exhorting, comforting, strengthening, interceding, and inspiring. besides, the Bible makes it sparkling that the Holy Spirit is God Himself. In Acts 5:a million-4 a guy who lied to the Holy Spirit is declared to have lied to God. The Holy Spirit is likewise defined in the Bible as having the features of God and doing God's paintings. He convicts human beings of sin, righteousness, and judgment (John 16:8-11) and delivers new existence to those who count on Jesus (John 3:8). that he's the 0.33 man or woman of the Holy Trinity is made sparkling by His inclusion with the daddy and the Son in such Bible passages as Matthew 28:19. the following the apostles are commanded to baptize those who receive the Gospel "in the call of the daddy and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit." in the former testomony, the Holy Spirit found human beings, anointing them for a particular job or purpose (Exodus 31:a million-5; Numbers 24:2). in the recent testomony, the Holy Spirit dwells interior of all believers (a million Corinthians 6:19), assures them that they are babies of God (Romans 8:16), facilitates them to stay the Christian existence (Romans 8:9, 12-15), and presents them for Christian service (a million Corinthians, financial ruin 12).

God is just pretend. Created in the minds of humans.

I know what your going to say - Well then where did we come from? There must be something out there. This can't all just be an accident.

Don't know - and I'm ok with that - We don't need to make up reasons for things every time we don't understand something.
Evolution is an unproven theory so that's not the answer either.

Try atheism.

God continues to speak to us, sometimes we just don't listen. He speaks in the still of the night through our dreams and even our nightmares. He speaks to us in the early morn when the sun breaks through the clouds whispering to us that he has granted us a new day. He speaks to us through the sweet new voices of our children and the olden withered voices of our elders speaking the wisdom that only God could instill. If it isn't evident that God spoke after the crucifixion of Christ maybe its because he thought he spoken enough and it was time to show the world his wonders. He speaks If you listen.

Nope, He stills continues sending His word via Gabriel to Prophet Muhammad (pbuh)..

and yes, God still constantly reminding us of not forgetting Him, that He will always be around watching us by sending a test to each of every human..like sending floods, tsunami and earth quake..these things will make humans move closer to God as in human will always ask and pray to God..to always give them mercy and away from sufferings...
