God does not appear before people, neither in waking life or dreams. Jesus (as a Messenger of God, not as THE GOD) can appear in visions and dreams. If this is a true vision, God will make it clear that this is Jesus and not satan. Satan, will however, pretend to be God Himself and appear before people. One should know God will only be seen by humans after death. This is from strict Islamic teachings.

Well, I would seriously entertain the possibility that I was schizophrenic, because that is a classic symptom. But really, do you think God just literally appears to people in a classical sense of the word? That seems extremely unlikely to me.

IF either appeared to me it would be proof of something more than just the life we have on earth...
God or "The deceiver" they would have answered the longest running question of all time, and I would be satisfed with that.

haha I was just going to ask a question similar to this.
But if God and or Jesus appeared to me, i'd probably go to the hospital and have a full work up, and make sure I wasn't drugged or something. If everything came back clean, then i'd probably ask why on earth he put the knee's on flamingo's backwards, or just what he was thinking giving us eyebrows. I mean yeah ppl look pretty silly without them, but you have to admit they look pretty silly.

i'd ask him (her? some people seem to think so, so maybe...) where he's been for the past few centuries, why war exists etc. maybe ask for a Ferrari or something. you know, just to test that he's REALLY god. and if it turned out to be like a jet-black ferrarri covered in blood, i'd be fairly certain i was talking to satan not god.....

he would have to appear to me the way he said he would appear in the Bible. If it is not that way, then I will know it is not really Him.
