Depends on which one you are dedicated to doing! If you were dedicated to doing both, I would think that losing weight would be easier than quitting heroin! Statistics say that heroin addicts don't really have a good chance of staying off of heroin when they quit. The same is true when you lose 50 pounds(you'll most likely gain some weight back!) My sister has successfully been off of heroin for 7 years. It was having a daughter that turned her around!

Take a balanced diet
Regular brisk walking for half to 1 hour
If possible aerobics , 5 days in a week.

you didn't put on 50 pounds quickly what makes you think you can take it off quickly?
Plain and simple way to lose weight - burn more calories than you take in. Keep a log of EVERYTHING you eat and how many calories/fat/protein is in it. Cut out sweets, fatty, fried foods and eat more veggies/fruits and lean meats and fish.
Then get out there and sweat your butt off for at least 30 minutes EVERYDAY, like it or not exercise is the only way to lose weight and keep it off

Eat a subway sandwich for lunch and dinner every day. then start walking 1 mile a day. Every time you walk however, time yourself and beat the time from the day before. You will eventually get to a run walk stage and eventually a regular jog. When you can run one mile every day without breathing to hard. Start going two miles. If you adhere, you will lose that fifty pounds in less than a month. email me and let me know how you did.

Fly to Heathrow, take the Heathrow Express to Victoria Coach station and then ask a taxi driver to take you the quickest way to Victoria train station. Make sure you tell them you're a tourist. You should lose it in about 3 minutes flat, just your wallet will lose weight though and your bank balance may not be as healthy as it was.

Diet- 2000 calories per day- goods foods low fat.
Exercise- heart rate up and sweat for 30 minutes-One hour three to five times per week. Calasthenics are best. (cheap)
There is not healthy quick fix. You will get nothing good in life without sacrafice.

Do not make a high goal, first of all. It's a health risk to lose more than 3 pounds a week and can decrease your confidence. Besides, that much in a week would probably be water weight, which comes right back.
Try taking a walk for 30 minutes a day, adding 10 minutes each week. Once you get up to an hour long walk, start biking or jogging for 20 minutes a day, adding on minutes once again. By the time you are biking or jogging for an hour a day, just keep at it and you'll keep losing.
Remember to EAT YOUR BREAKFAST. Eating Breakfast will reduce your hunger and increase your energy throughout the day. You should have a large breakfast, smaller lunch, and light dinner. Or you can have multiple small meals throughout the day. Avoid snacking at night (after 8 PM), and when you really want junk food, eat a half serving and substitute the other half with a fruit or veggie. Make sure you drink water too, it's helpful in losing weight faster. Be sure to lay off soda...it's high in cals.
