where is the awareness of ourselves and of our environment and of everything located? (some say its the soul or spirit) is consciousness located in the brain? or is it located around our body? others say its the neurons of the brain that makes consciousness and us aware and some others say its a invisible type of energetic field others say its located in our chakras ! but is it really located in the brain or around the body? throught the body? i always used to think that my consciosness awareness of myself wasnt in the brain! but everywhere and around my body! anyone know where the mind consciousness is located?

There is a certain area in brain that has to do with awareness and my own theory is that a certain network of objects that carry information (such as neural network in brain) might induces awareness or make it possible to access the aware. I dont think that the human brain is unique, awareness is something universal and has nothing to do with personal skills or intelligence. Maybe awareness is some universal phenomenon or force that surround and connect the materiel world and our brain has the property to access this phenomenon? We can not messure awareness and therefore we can not exclude anything from beeing part of awareness.

I would say that the human consciousness lies in 9 places in and around the body itself. on a subconscious level energy is released and taken in throughout the body in the 7 chakras. u were right! and on a conscious level, you think with reasoning or logic-the right side of the brain (reasoning) and the left side (logic)-and according to Sigmund Freud we have an ego, a superego, and an id.

It is interpreted by the brain but I agree with you it surrounds and, the interaction of electrons with every object you touch. The reaction is incredible and can mean our actions and behaviors directly effect everything around. For survival our cosciousness has developed the best means to live in our environment.
