They elected a hardcore porn star to Parliament in 1987 and she was still making movies while holding office.
Drug laws are strict, but you can still find what you want. They have strip clubs and the rest. Just be discreet. They do not have open red light districts as are in Amsterdam or Germany (at least not where I was).

i think we have more problems to change these laws because of the Pope... he interfere with Italian politics, use religion to control Italy... is annoying... you cannot change nothing, he has too mach power... does anyone wants him back? Germans? french? Spanish? ... please ...
