Hey,
My friend got the glue in ones and she also paid £150 and had them done proffessionally and they looked a mess and ruined her hair, perhaps they arent all like that I have had 2 sets of clip in extensions I love them they r 50-70 but they lasted 1 year just recently bought a new set they r far better than the glue in ones as u can take them out wen u wan, style them and wash them so they always look clean u can also dye them!! As long as u have a match for ur hair u will be fine, U cant see the clips in the slightest and can choose how thick or thin u want ur hair to be!! Well worth the money, u can also choose the length, so overall i would say get the 100% real hair clip in extensions!!

Hi, im a trained hairdresser and you just need to find someone who knows what they are doing and it might cost more but its worth it because if you get them done professionaly and the person knows how to cut the extensions so they blend and look natural you will have a great result. also you can get them glued in sewn in or bonded but the glue tends not to last long with caucasian hair because our hair needs more washing and it loosens the glue and also if they dont know how to glue it exactly on the scalp and get the glue on the hair it is extreamly painful to get the glue out because its like a rubber when it dries but if that happens spray the glue thats on your hair with hairspray and it will help but it will still hurt alittle so i recomend the bonding even though its expensive, if you have anymore questions e-mail me at mistilea2006@yahoo.com

Well, this is funny but very true.I wanted hair extensions so my friend suggested this lady to me,so on my birthday we went and i paid $500.00 for them.I sat down and for the 7 hours i was there the pain was unbearable!!!i am dead serious. So i hadn't seen myself with the cut yet so i looked in the mirror and (originally i had like jawline short hair)and they didn't layer it right so it looked like a mullet! She so played me out of that money,oh and by the way they were so itchy it felt like the chicken pox on my head while the burning sensation took over on my scalp. That's because i couldn't condition my hair(I'm white and ethnic women naturally have oilier hair)so that was a big problem!!so anyways maybe get to know the hairdresser and see what you think.

There are several types, as far as I know. One of the most recent is a glue-on type, which you can remove quite easily with a solvent and doesn't pull or damage your hair/scalp. It feels exactly like your own hair and doesn't come off when you brush or wash your hair (although you should take some care). This type has a very long life. You can use it , take it off, and re-use it as you please. I have a couple of blue strands and wear them for special occasions. Hope it helps.

i had them about 6 years ago and i only had them in for a month.they were high maintenance.they were very long and it was hard to wash and style them every day.if you have a lot of time to look after them go ahead but if you are always in a rush in the morning don`t do it.they last about 3 months.good luck

I'd say if you are going to get them done, go to someone who a friend recommends to you. I've seen some awful extensions which look really silly. hope you find a good hairdresser!!
