Because people are turning against the war, which unfortunately makes some turn against the troops. I commend our men and women in uniform but do not support this war. It is also because people do not understand the nature of combat and what it does to the minds of soldiers. My brother served 3 tours of duty in Vietnam. Why 3? Because after the first, he came back to a country that hated him for a decision that was made by the idiots in charge.
Until you walk a mile in those combat boots, don't judge them.

Maybe, people perceive that they committed the crime. To prove it otherwise, present evidence that they are innocent like the ones being done by defense lawyers.

That is a advertising, or ranking problem technically. You might want to just realize that most people think their guilty.
