dandruff problem:i have a bad habit to pull it out, but sometimes its hard and scaly and contains blood.help?

please im desperate.i have a bad habit of pulling it out......does anybody else do it or seen someone else do it?

yep shirin!i have this irritating habit too and it drives my hubby crazy all the time!one solution which works for me is to shampoo the hair frequently.that way,i feel my scalp clean and don't like to distrub the hair by touching.nizoral is a medicated shampoo for dandruff and if u follow the directions given on its bottle,ur dandruff will be gone in 6 weeks.
so after that,when u dig into ur hair and won't find any dandruff,ur habit of pulling ur hair will atop automatically.
also helps-good diet,2-3 almonds daily and weekly oil massages(olive/almond/mustard)

Well the first thing you do is stop pulling it out, second thing you do is go to a dermatologist and then they will give you a solution to your dandruff problem.

P.S. When you pick at it your only making it worst.

It seems you have a form of psoriasis instead of dandruff. Use some over the counter shampoo with tar. Ask you doctor about it.

I hear that crushing an aspirin and putting it in your shampoo helps with dandruff. Its supposed to be a home remedy.

It's actually very bad to pull out dandroff, see a hair doctor, apparently your scalp is very dry, go for proper treatment before you end up ,hurting yourself!

You need to put some vasiline on your salp and just your scalp and then your head will be so moisturized that it wont have flakes.and maybe use head and shoulders shampoo and conditionor
