lol i used to bartend in calgary, and i`m assuming your a girl because you mentioned daiquiries... mostly only the ladies ordered these as the same with margaritas.. smirnoffs i found people enjoyed
you might want to try a chambord royale very popular and apparently tastes great
you might also try a cosmopolitan or a crantini which are also girly drinks but tasty... you can also go with the good ol highballs which are like... rye and cokes, vodka sodas, gin and tonics

if you wanna go fancy, try a tequila sunrise, or a malibu pinapple

and if you`re really stuck, just ask the bartender, they`ll recommend something tasty

Cosmopolitan - cranberry & vodka with a little soda
Long Island Ice Tea - careful they pack a wollop!
Tequila Sunrise - Tequila, OJ & Grenadine
Fuzzy Navel - OJ and Peach Schnapps
Zombie - rum & fruit juice
Planter's Punch - very old fashioned, fruity rum drink
Pina Colada - Coconutty drink

Warning - if you mix drinks instead of sticking to one kind of liquor, you will get drunk and/or sick faster and have a worse hangover. The clear spirits - gin, vodka, white rum - are less hangover causing. You don't want a hangover at sea!
