all his heart, that he wants to be with you and he pours his heart out about his feelings for you, would you still be friends with him or would you run for the hills?

I would still be his friend, b/c that sounds like a very sweet, caring, honest, trusting, dependable, friend!!
Very Hard to find these days!!!

Pouring the heart out ..is not really a very good idea...
as it becomes increaisngly uncomfortable between the two if the feeling is not mutual...

It will leave you in an awkward position and personally speaking...It wont be the same for either of you again...

Pouring the heart out ceases a friendship..and goes for the kill..
Either you make out...or else..
Youve lost a friend!

It happened to me. I niecly told the guy that I couldn't return his feelings, but I loved him as a friend. It has been close to five years and he is still a good friend of mine. I do need to be cautious that he doesn't give him the wrong signals to make him think I have changed his mind.
I would never run to the hills from my good friend.

some women might.....if she is quality she will tell you the truth and the two of you can continue your friendship.

Let the lady go. there will be other loves. But a true friend is a rare thing to find.

I would tell him I wish I felt the same way, but I just don't. I would assure him that there is someone out there who will love him the way he deserves to be loved. I would be honest and tell him that you would like to remain friends but that is all it will ever be, and if he can't accept that it is better that you don't see one another. Clarify that nothing he can do will change your mind and it is time to let go and go find the right one. Tell him someday he will thank you. There is a song out ther called 'Unanswered Prayers' that describes this situation.

I would still be friends with him but I have to be honest here - it might take me awhile. I might avoid him for a week or so, just because it's hard to know how to act. I wouldn't want to hurt his feelings, or make him feel worse, and I'd probably feel pretty awkward about it. But it wouldn't be permanent.

Most of the time, it's really shocking to hear that someone is in love with you when you don't have any feelings for them. She might just need some time to adjust to the new dynamic in your friendship.

I've had that happen to me twice,
Unrequited love is sad, but there are signs that you can't miss whether she is interested that way or not.
It is upsetting for the girl to know he loves her so much when she doesn't feel the same as she knows it is impossible to maintain a close friendship, where she can reveal her secrets, if she knows he will always be living in hope.
It is doomed as a frienship, I am afraid.

if u have no affectionate feelings for him, pls tell him straight but do it nicely...he also has feelings so, dun use harsh words...just tell him nicely tat he aint suitable for u and get the record straight, just tell him tat u look upon him as a very good friend and nothing will progress from this level...make him understand ur pt of view and pls dun avoid him at any costs...tell him u cherish the platonic friendship... and most IMPORTANTLY, dun do anything tat will mislead him further!!!

I would still be friends with him because if thats how he really feels about me I don't think it should effect our friendship. Friendship comes first and i would admire his courage for telling me and hope that it could make our friendship stronger and maybe turn into something more.
