Jesus is the Almighty God. There is one God, but 3 forms of that one God...the Father, the Son (Jesus), and the the Holy Spirit. These 3 forms of God can speak to each other and interact with eadch other, but there is still only 1 God. I do not believe this can be understood by a created being. Anyway, that is why we sometimes pray to the Father and to Jesus.

The Holy Trinity---God is The father, God sent sent his spirit in the form of a son, Jesus became the Holy Spirit which end the end is God. God sent his son (can't be his Biological son because He didn't have sex) So God in essence sent his own spirit to earth in the FORM of Jesus to live as the son of God. That is how he is also the Holy Spirt.
So to answer your question, no matter which one you pray to; The Father, The Son and The Holy Spirit are all one in the same, just at different times/levels of existence.

Prayers should be to Jehovah who is the almighty God according to Psalm 83:18 but must be given thru God's son, Jesus Christ, who is the only mediator between God and man who is acceptable to God himself. Jesus was the first spiritual son of God and through him, God created all other things. Jesus had a special fondness for mankind and therefore when Adam and Eve sinned and condemned all mankind to sin and death, he volunteered to live as a man and permanantly sacrifice his human life so that humans who were willing to accept his sacrifice could once again escape the effects of sin (sickness, old age, death, etc). Because he was able to maintain integrity to God throughout his human life, God accepted his sacrifice and made him the mediator for mankind.

"Why do Catholics (or Christians) call Jesus God even as the Bible says he's the Messiah?" because this is the truth that he taught us even as He became in the international. How is it that you've faith that Jesus being completely God and entirely guy negates His atoning sacrifice? he's extremely the proper Lamb of God prophesied. "a million: He became the Messiah to the Jewish human beings." Jesus is the Messiah to all those who keep on with Him. "2: Jesus' call and the call of Almighty God are continuously separated." the single God is produced from 3 persons, the daddy, the Son and the Holy Spirit. "3: the very shown truth that Jesus had to desire, cry to, and ask God for issues." convinced, they could and do talk. Jesus became and is totally God and entirely guy. convinced in His submission He became preparation us to do a similar. God bless! In Christ Fr. Joseph

We know that Jesus is LORD, He is the Almighty God...He and His father are one in the same. When we pray in His name, He promised eternal life along with abundant life. Only by His blood and sacrifice are we truly eternally free, so asking in His Name seals our requests and petitions in His amazing power. Good question. Hope my answer helped. See, it is all about our Faith, His Grace and what truth we have chosen to accept. Jesus and God, once again are one in the same. He's the ALMIGHTY God.

we pray to Jesus , to the Father Himself and to the Holy Spirit - all of these three is one !
The Father is in heaven, Jesus is the Son and the Holy Spirit lives within your heart and soul-
Jesus was send to earth as a human being, but then after he was crusified, was taken back into heaven- He was not just a human being - He was the Son of God.
The Lord says in John that the only way to Him is through Jesus Christ - so that is why we pray to Jesus, but in the same sense we are talking to the Father as well - Hope i could help you-
Christianity is a believe based on complete FAITH- and i am very faithfull and honoured to serve my Lord- God bless

First of all, God is triune - God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit. He is one and the same. So we pray the Father in the name of Jesus Christ, and the Holy Spirit, the Helper assists us.

Jesus is God, the Son of God. He is one of the Three Persons of the Holy Trinity. Therefore, He is God and it is right and good for Him to be prayed to.
