What clothes are the teachers allowed and not allowed to wear while teaching.
I've heard rumors that the teachers aren't allowed to wear shorts, back when I was in high school I've seen some teachers wear shorts, usually the knee length shorts.

Also are teachers allowed to wear leather blazer jackets while teaching? If I was a teacher I would usually wear my leather blazer jacket from October-April.

I am a 5th Grade teacher in South Florida. Each district has its own policies regarding faculty dress. Some are very strict. One school required female teachers to wear stockings (hose) while wearing a skirt/dress. Others are more loose. Our particular school requires teachers not wear blue jeans except on field trip days and special events. We may not wear shirts with any words on them "American Eagle " , for example. We may not show cleavage. I have a small tattoo on my neck, and I am surprised that it has never been a topic of conversation with my administration, however, it seems all the new teachers graduating from college have tattoos.

It depends on the school. Some schools want teachers to dress really professionally men with ties and shirts women in dresses and skirts. Some are just no jeans, tank tops or shorts. Just depends. Some teachers of young students are on the floor all the time with the kids and need to wear jeans.
It depends on the school. I am sure the schools do not want teachers wearing anything too sexy. Universities do not allways care. It just depends.

Nothing cleavage exposing or too short.
I had a teacher that used to wear really low open tops and a furry leopard print bra, not something a 13 year old needs to see.

Depends what they are teaching. In geography, to explain the different planets etc, shorts are the best(without undies). For chemistry class, shirtless is best to expose composition of body odours. For history anythings fine, only the bald head should show. For arithmatic the tutor should keep hands free from the chick on the first bench. For Languages & music he must brush the teeth & know what is mouthwash. For Hockey, well, I guess you know by now. Right? Full marks to you.

It depends on the school; some are more casual than others.
