made me an outcast in the immigration forum. I have NEVER veered from my views and won't. I have used sarcasm and ugly attacks to support my views. I have attacked people personally and intellectually.....and probably (no.....won't) stop.
Is that OK? Is it OK to still post? I love that I am attacked......that is good politics. Should I continue to pimp my rhetoric or shut up and watch Dr. Phil?

You have been an outcast before Yahoo answers if that makes you feel any better. Y answers has only exposed it. The thing is...all you have is sarcasm and ugly attacks to support your views. You are right...you only attack people..you don't seem to have the sense to "attack" their position. The fact that you realize that you are doing it and refuse to stop is quite astounding. You are also correct in that you "pimp rhetoric". You do not present a case that is substantiated with anything more than your "feelings".
for some odd reason you think that the more you are attacked the better your politics, which leads me to believe that the stronger your oppositions case is the more severe your personal attacks will be on them. Please...by all means..continue to "pimp your rhetoric"...you are serving only to bolster the case for a legal and legitimate American society.

If your view is valid, you shouldn't have to attack anybody. Ugly attacks and insulting views are usually a sign of weak-minded people defending indefensible views.
What floors me about this is that your argument isn't indefensible (yeah, I know, nice double negative). There is plenty of logic to support your view.
Why do you feel it is necessary to descend to the level of the uninformed and pull a "Jerry Springer" kind of attitude to back yourself up?
Look, those who support both pro-immigration and anti-immigration stances most often have enlightened views and arguments worth considering. Granted, there are always extremists on the right who insist that the only way to fix immigration is to build a new Berlin Wall, but there are also extremists on the left who insist that all illegal immigrants should be granted amnesty.
The truth is that neither of those views is correct. Immigration, legal and otherwise, is going to happen, whether Americans like it or not. And additionally there are many so-called illegal immigrants who make dramatic contributions to American society. These people who do contribute deserve "amnesty," so to speak. There are those who do not contribute to American society, and thus should not be allowed to participate in that society.
Let me ask you this - how defensible is your argument? If you have to resort to personal attacks, then maybe you have logical flaws in your argument that you can't defend. Find the logical argument, and you cannot be overturned. Then you won't have to attack anyone personally anymore.

I think you should take de rak's offer for IM because I also find that you speak here without enough information to back up your stance.
Personally, while you have certainly grated on my nerves a lot of times on here because of your condescending, smart *** attitude and know-it-all demeanour, I try to give you leeway by understanding that you are young and think you know more than you do, sort of like one of my children, but I think you need to also open up your mind to some reality. Perhaps you are extremely wealthy, and so the drain of resources caused by illegal immigrants doesn't really concern you since the wealthy also do not pay their fair share of taxes. Perhaps your children are able to go to private schools, so you don't feel the impact that typical Americans feel on their own children's education being deprived due to the drain by the children of illegal immigrants. Perhaps, also, if you are wealthy, you don't realize that the bulk of American citizens are not wealthy and so, by our standards, are the "poor" of our country, just as the illegal immigrants are the "poor" of their countries. Maybe you have not been touched by the effects of your SIN being fraudulently stolen and used or by being in a car accident with an illegal immigrant.
Perhaps your daughter has not fallen in love with an illegal immigrant, as mine has done, and so you don't feel the pain that I feel when I look at the dismal future he is providing for her just by the fact that he is illegal. Not to mention, the dismal prospects for their future children, when they will have to worry all the time whether "Dad" can work enough to help support them and when he may be again deported.
You need to open up your eyes and see this issue from ALL sides. While you have never attacked me, personally, I have seen you attack others and I have mostly found you to be very, as I said before, condescending, in a very unattractive manner.
Yes, I called you young and I will still say that. You have only ever talked about your 7 year old daughter here and so I am assuming that she is your only child and so you are somewhere between 23 and maybe 35, depending on when you had your daughter. That is still very young and probably very inexperienced in life, regardless of what you may think. I know my kids are ages 23 and 29 and they think they know IT ALL, but they know barely anything at all, and I know that FOR SURE!

The day that YOU are able to attack anyone intellectually is the day that Roseanne Barr will be crowned Ms. America!!! Most of the time, you don't make any sense at all. You call people out and then lie about it. You have the same freedoms of speech that I do and you hate that I use mine...too bad. Unlike you, I love my country and my people and hate what these criminals are doing. Don't you care about your children's future? I would hate to have a mother like that. You are an embarrassment to Americans everywhere.

We all get attacked on this board and on our IM's, even when we are not on the board at the time we made a post 8 hours ago. I hate that, but, to each his own. your not an outcast your a woman of integrity ,honor and honesty that see's something that is wrong and willing to speak out despite being unpopular on your views by some but many really agree with you but are not speaking up on the matter.
The only thing needed to let evil florish is for good WOMEN and men to do nothing!

And your right they need to give papers to people in the country already and block north and south borders from more immigrants from coming in.
