Double click the sound icon, go to advanced, and disable the beeper.

Your PC has an internal speaker.

There is a way to turn it of. Just open the Device Manager, select View -> Show Hidden Devices, and disable "Beep" under "Non-Plug and Play Drivers". It works on my Windows XP, and turns off even the speaker on my motherboard, which I cannot just unplug.

In every Operating System there is a sound and Audio devices in the control Panel. When u click the control panel ->sound and Audio devices then u go to the vol, sound, audio, voice, hardware options. In the sound options there is program event and in that program event the sound are assigned to the specific programs. So there is also a recycle bin and there is a sound assigned to it .So that the sound is produced when the recycle bin is empty.

The settings for your Widows sounds scheme is probably set up to beep when emptied. You can edit the sound scheme settings and remove this if you want.
