While urine should be clear or light yellow, it can also be other colors due to medication, vitamins or otc products. For example, if you take vitamin B-2, your urine will be orangish or very dark yellow. Some foods also affect your urine; asparagus will turn it green.
Most color changes are temporary. If you have a color change that is not temporary, see your doctor for diagnosis and/or testing.

Urine should be anywhere from clear to light yellow. Any darker and you're probably dehydrated. An exception to this is after taking a multi-vitamin. Those will turn urine bright yellow.
But color isn't the only thing to look for. While you're looking, make sure it's clear, cloudy urine is cause for concern. So is evidence of blood, or sediment.
A good doctor once told me "you should pee clear at least once a day". Drink lots of water, it's good for you.
Good Luck!

Depends on time of day...first morning is usually dark yellow to orange because of concentration. If you get enough liquids in you during the day it will be light yellow or colorless. If you work hard during the day and don't get enough to drink, again it could darken. Depends on circumstances and liquid intake. Red is a no-no...see a doc

oh its suppose to be either colorless or a very light yellow...if its dark yellow or even orange it means your not drinking enough water...so always drink water and your pee will be a regular color.

clear or near clear, sometimes if you are very active and low on water yellow can happen, but it is indicative of low water level in body, anything darker is not healthy for a second or a day.
A person should drink plenty of water everyday, even if they are in an airconditioned environment and not sweating or exercising.

It totally depends. If you are underhydrated, your urine will be a dark yellow--sometimes bordering on brown. If you are well hydrated, your urine could be almost clear.
Yellow, gold, light brown (occasionally, not always), clear--these are all usually fine. Red is not good, as it indicates blood in the urine.

Dark yellow is healthy, light yellow is ok, red means a problem. Brown means a serious problem too. White just means you aren't eating or drinking right. What color are you refering too? If it's red, you might be bleeding somewhere within your bladder or kidney. Good luck

Large doses vitamins (like vitamin C) can also change the color. Don't worry about it.

yellow or clear is healthy.
If has a reddish cast or dark, it means blood got into your urinary tract. It could be renal failure. Get it checked right away.
