I am a 20 Year old man.My problem is that i am having Gynecomastia(Breasts for men) for the last 6 years. But i only came to know about it last month that is a kind of disorder. Before that i lived in fear for the last 6 years.I thought that i am a chakka(half man and half woman). Now the problem is that because i lived in fear, i was not used to go out of my house and mix up with people.Secondly, because of that disoder my personality has changed. When i talk it does not make sense or niether people can understand what i say. There is misunderstanding between me and other people. My speech has also become horrible.I can't even pronouce the words both of my local language or English language like i used to do before 6 years. What should i do to make things better for me?

I think if you get a breast reduction surgery it will solve your problems. Good luck, I really feel for you!

I don't know for sure, but here's my suggestion:
1) Do some Internet research on the causes of gynecomastia.
2) Also do some Internet research on hormone problems with the testicles. If you're 20 and have had the problem for 6 years, then it started around puberty.
3) Once you are a little versed into the causes of the problems, contact a Doctor and seek professional help.

It sounds like hormone imbalances and/or some type of growth related problem. Definitely see a Doctor and discuss all the variables of your symptoms, time-line of problems, and any other medically related issues.

So sorry to hear that. Have you talked to a doctor? If not go and see a specialist. I saw a special on this once and the doctors were able to help two men have a better life for themselves through surgery and erased the fears of embarrassment of being in public. You shouldn't have to live in fear if something can be done about it. Do some major research and see if there are any cosmetic hospitals that specialize in surgically treating this condition in or around your area. Don't wait around any longer. Hope things get better for you.

First I am sorry to hear your story. But the more you isolate yourself, the more difficult your life can be. It is dangerous to your mental health also.

Well, I do not know how noticeable your breast is. If you can still hide it like the girl in the movie "Boys Don't Cry" - then you can go outside while at the same time seeking treatment for your disorder.

I believe you are not alone, and I suggest you also to seek support group in your area. Talk to your doctor and ask his opinion on what is the medical procedure and the support group. I hope you will not discourage, and I wish I can help you more besides this advice.

Sounds like you need to get out and meet people and talk more. Try taking some speech classes and then see about surgery to remove the breast.
