Is it possible that millions of people are ignorantly sacrificing their health in exchange for the convenience of microwave ovens? Why did the Soviet Union ban the use of microwave ovens in 1976? Who invented microwave ovens, and why? The answers to these questions may shock you into throwing your microwave oven in the trash.
Over 90% of American homes have microwave ovens used for meal preparation. Because microwave ovens are so convenient and energy efficient, as compared to conventional ovens, very few homes or restaurants are without them. In general, people believe that whatever a microwave oven does to foods cooked in it doesn't have any negative effect on either the food or them.
Of course, if microwave ovens were really harmful, our government would never allow them on the market, would they? Would they? Regardless of what has been "officially" released concerning microwave ovens, we have personally stopped using our

Someone said bellow IF HTEY LEAK THEY ARE DANGEROUS
You use radioactive waves of low freq to warm up food so it does not matter if it leaks or not

You are what an educated person refers to as 'an information terrorist'....here is an article you can pass along to all your friends!
Proof That Pickles Are Bad For You
________________________________________
Look at the Pickle that the pickle people have put you in!
Pickles will kill you. Every pickle you eat brings you nearer to death. Amazingly, the thinking man has failed to grasp the significance of the term "in a pickle". Although leading horticulturists have long said that Cucamis Sativus possesses Indehiscent Pepto, the pickle industry continues to expand.
Pickles are associated with all the major diseases of the body. Eating them breeds wars and Communism. They can be related to most airline tragedies. Auto accidents are caused by pickles. There exists a positive relationship between crime waves and consumption of this fruit of the curcubit family. For example:
•Nearly all sick people have eaten pickles; therefore, the effects are obviously cumulative.
•Of all the people who die from cancer, 99% have eaten pickles.
•100% of all soldiers have eaten pickles; therefore, pickles must be related to wars.
•98.8% of all Communist sympathizers have eaten pickles.
•99.7% of all the people involved in the air and auto accidents ate pickles within 14 days preceding the tragedy.
•93.1% of all juvenile delinquents come from homes where pickles are served frequently.
Evidence points to some startling long term effects of pickle eating:
Of all the people born in 1865 who later dined on pickles, there has been a 100% mortality rate.
All pickle eaters born between 1890 and 1900 have wrinkled skin, brittle bones, have lost most of their teeth and are afflicted by failing eyesight... if the ills that come from eating pickles have not already resulted in their death.
Even more convincing is the report from a noted team of medical specialists. They found that rats which were force-fed with 20 pounds of pickles per day developed bulging abdomens. It was further noted that the rat's appetites for wholesome food was completely destroyed.

It is more dangerous to be in the sun for a few minutes than to be near a normal operating microwave. The average microwave is perfectly safe as long as the door safety-interlock is working.
Have you been to Russia to verify that microwaves have been banned? That's silly. They are in use everywhere on the planet and are quite safe.
Microwaves work by a magnetron emitting radio waves at the resonance frequency of water. When working, the radio waves oscillate the water molecules, their friction generates heat, and food gets cooked or water heats up. That's it. No glowing nuclear rods or crap like that.
It's idiots like you that say cell phones cause cancer, or power lines deform babies, or the government reads the money in your wallet with the little metal strips embedded in cash, and other such nonsense.
Try learning some science and physics. There's this little thing called the Internet that may help.

The article you cite, as well as many similar articles I found online, all seem to be copies of the following document: http://www.ecclesia.org/forum/uploads/bondservant/microwaveP.pdf
This article lacks credible evidence from peer-reviewed journals and has serious scientific errors. Heat in food is the result of molecules in the food vibrating. Molecules in hotter food vibrate faster than those in cooler food.
A microwave heats food by using electromagnetic waves in the radio range of the spectrum (which is very low in energy). These waves cause water molecules to vibrate, which in turn cause the other molecules in the food to vibrate. In an oven, the heating element causes air molecules in the oven to vibrate which collide with the food and make the food molecules vibrate. There is no scientific basis for the claim that microwaves cause "substantial damage to the surrounding molecules" in the food.
Also, consider this question from a practical standpoint. If these hazards were valid, why hasn't more been published? Why would every medical researcher, doctor and biophysicist ignore the possibility that they, their patients, and the public are all eating hazardous food. No doubt the vast majority of scientists use microwaves. Futhermore, discovering and publishing the hazards of microwaved food would definitely be a great scientific achievement. Why would a scientist not investigate these claims if he or she thought they had merit? A vast government conspiracy? Those who believe the US government is capable of such things have a lot more faith in the government than your average citizen.
To answer your question: no, I will not stop using my microwave.
P.S. Have you noticed how the website you cited and the many others like it are all trying to sell you something?

I honestly haven't had a microwave since early 2000 when mine just up and died, but I don't really miss it. I didn't use it that much to begin with. Now I'm toaster-oven all the way, plus my stove heats up quickly so it's not as if anything I want to cook or warm up takes a long time. Is there anybody else out there who doesn't have a microwave?

Microwaves are only dangerous if there is a leak. New microwaves are not known to leak, but if you are using an old clunky one from the 70s with a loose door, it's time to trash it. Some plastics could emit unhealthy fumes, so I'd use a glass dish.

Besides overheating your food and burning your mouth? None. The slander about microwave oven being dangerous were dished out by manufacturers of conventional ovens because they did not want people using microwaves.
