Definitely NOT a myth. Women who are coming out of relationships or in your town for a hot second or don't call you really just want no strings attached. A lot of those women are indeed searching for someone special maybe just not at that moment or just not with you (I mean that in the best way possible of course).
That of course doesn't mean to treat them with disrespect or lie to them. When a women just wants to hang out and have a few "dates" and then have non-commital sex then be completely up front and continually honest -- that KEEPS it no strings attached. No hanging out everyday or calling everyday none of that stuff. Sometimes she pays, sometimes you pay, sometimes you split. Truly friends.

Hey let me ask you a question that might answer yours. Have you ever found that a man that has a woman in his life has more women hitting on him. I find that almost every man I know says that they find that when they are single that its hard to date but as soon as they get attached the women start hitting or sending signs of come on baby lets get it on. I have also found this to be true in my past. I find that women have no respect for each other at all and could care less about who and what they hurt in the process of getting what they want .

Friends with benefits are what you call it. It was great while it lasted. We hung out, had a good time, and got into the sack every now and then. Never had to call her to tell her where I was or what I was doing and all those other little things that couples do. Then she got a boyfriend.

and yes, there are girls out there (non hooker and non ugly chicks) that are willing to do a one night stand, but always go to a hotel, you don't want the knowing where you live and you never want to give them your phone number, you dirty playa you.
