Having a boyfriend at 13 can mean several different things, some of them childish and some of them kind of dangerous. Odds are down the road they won't consider there current relationships there first boyfriend.
Many people go through high school without a relationship but end up dating shortly thereafter. Feeling pressure to date is a good way to get yourself burnt. Don't worry about it and be yourself.

At 13, "dating" boys should be a natural, bumbling, sweet ode of innocent love. God forbid it goes any further. By 15, what you want may come into focus. Hopefully by 18-20, you'll know you want a man instead of a Playstation addicted, grungy looking fop of poser status.
Oh, and try to keep the head clear of your girlfriends "pop-psychology". Stay clear of playing head games with guys....and most importantly.....being a b i t c h can take you places--places where you're alone because today's guys have no problem veering clear of such women.

There is no "normal" age to have a bf. It happens when it happens. No matter how old you get, never let people make you feel "normal" or "abnormal" based on if you have a bf or not.
You don't need a bf to be a good person.

17 years old is a terrific age to have a long relationship but try not to get too serious. Always use condoms! This protects your body from becoming pregnant and will protect you from any sexually transmitted diseases.

Official boyfriend, I guess around 16 or so. Secret "boyfriend" (as in the ones parents don't know about)... maybe 11/12?
