No, not if you don't want to or mean it. I love you should come from the heart and not just be a response back to the other. My b/f doesn't say it often when I do. Still it's an expression of love and usually a person does enjoy hearing it said back or even first.

Do not say anything that you do not, sincerely, mean. The word "love" is already used too loosely. The real question you need to consider is does your boyfriend's behavior support his words? Best wishes.

nope... if you dont feel the same way then you dont have to say it, but it migth be a little bit awkward... what my boyfriend did was when i said "i lov eyou" to him first, he didnt feel the same way so he started saying "i wuv you" and "i luv you" which were close which made me feel better... he didnt tell me till later that he didnt actually love me right then, but he does now!

yes, but depend on emotion too! If my bf make me said and say love me i will not say that back bcause if he love shouldn't make me said and cry!!! He should think ab me b4 make me said insted say love me!!!

you don't say you love someone for any reason other than because you love that person and you enjoy expressing your feelings to that person...it happens naturally :)

Only say it if you mean it. If you dont mean it yet, then dont tell him that you love him. Its nice for guys to hear though if you do mean it.

no absolutely not... if you don't love him... just tell him you don't fell comfortable saying it back, cause you don't know if you feel that way back... he may b hurt... but you can't lead him on... this happened to a friend of mine..... and they ended up breaking up.... but they both agree now that it was better this way
