Obviously more.
Doesn't take much of a brain to think that an 80 year old man built an ark, filled it with 2 of every animal on the planet, redistributed them in their natural habitats after some flood, and then magically got rid of all the flood water from existence.

Some atheists think, some appear to not :)
The 10% brain usage story appears to be an urban legend...
It took a good bit of my brain capacity to examine the evidence for the existence of God (e.g., see http://www.godsci.org/gs/godsci/evidence.htm ) ...
I used to be an atheist. Over a period of time however, I grew convinced of the existence of the Christian God, and ultimately committed my life to Christ (e.g., see http://www.godsci.org/gs/chri/testimony/seek.html ).
Cordially,
John

Acctually I would think that they use less of their brains due to the fact that the brain is basically hard wired for prayer or meditation.Doctors can physically see a difference in a persons brain after prayer or meditation.Athiests do not use this part of the brain ,so no they use less.

I dont kno wat is it wid u and atheists , bt still i'll answer u .
Ya i think atheists(Of course their are dumb headed atheists too) do use their heads more than others .
Jus think bout this - givin u a personal e.g
My Parents are both god fearin and me being from a country tat claims itself to be God's own coutry(India) , it was migty difficult to feel and be an atheist . I am not sayin its in my nature to be rebellious , its just that it took lots of my mind and n heart to come to this conclusion .
So i really thim\nk Atheists do put their mind alot more than others

No, Christians and Atheists use the same amount of their brains.
However, Atheists do youse more Critical Thinking processes. They question; whereas Christianity depends on unquestioning faith.

its not that the athiests have more brain capacity than fundamentalists, its just that they actually use more to look around them and examine things. while fundamentalists just stick their nose in thebible, and refuse to look up at things they trip over. I mean,, come on, a fossil was put into a rock because god wanted to confuse us?
