If they know 100% you did not do it they wouldn't be accusing you. But if they have the slightest doubt, because of their insecurities and need of attention from you, they blame you.

it depends on what you are accused of doing and it depends on whether or not you are really lying. Women have a built in sense when it comes to whether or not men are lying and when you do lie men make up the most ridiculous excuses therefore leading to the conformation of the lie. So be honest because sooner rather than later you will get caught and if you really did not do anything then ask her why she feels that you are lying or cheating some women are just paranoid.

Not all women accuse,unless something seems odd, or they see something that they don't agree with. It's better to ask the guy,and explain why they are asking. Also women are territorial, it doesn't have anything to do with trust,but they do want to know what's going on.

And the Lady that was in my company asked me...

because when they do, you will still look guilty regardless. giving them a chance to fight with you which is entertaining to them not to mention it gives them an ice breaker for you to find out what they did.. basically so they can talk
