My cat Captain Nemo is cute and sweet on the outside but inside he's the bully of the kitty playground. He has attacked my cat Brittney so many times that now she's afraid to even go to the litter box and ends up doing her buisness in other less pleasent places. But through slowy coaxing her she has gotten back into the habit of using the litter box. On the flip side my other cats don't put up with his crap and fight back. I'm thinking that his behavoir has to do with the fact that he is just a juvenile kitty. But now, I'm just not sure. I have 3 other cats and Nemo is the only one out of all of them who acts this way. Any suggestions on what to do?

first buy another cat litter & put it in a separate room. this is very important... it gives each cat its own space (toys, bedding, food & water). With more than three cats... have at least 2 different "stations" but one per cat is ideal...

never show affection to one and not the other within short amount of time.

it will take some time.... be patient... water bottles just aggravate the cat more NOT condition them.

Find a little old lady for Captain Nemo and keep the other cats or keep Captain Nemo and get rid of the other cats. You could also ask your vet.

being a male cat he might be a tom cat. the male cat will always take on other cats whether male or female to let them know who's dominant and if he has some interest in one of your other cats, he will fight the others to show he's the boss and wants that cat for himslef even if he's not old enough yet. males become very territorial. not much you can do as if you scold them, they either run and hide or get agressive to you.

Come on dear! you should understand it very quickly. they are in love. Captain Nemo and Brittney. just let them get marry and let the litter box be their future house. that way your will get a peace of mind and they get their pleasure done. By the way , I know a close church that would be happy to marry them.

I have a cat like that. For awhile I thought she was making her claim in the pecking order, but she does it evenly to all of the others. I keep a can handy with pennies in it. Whenever she looks like she is going to pounce on one, I shake the can. Unfortunately, I have a dog too that sics at the sound of a hiss. So when the cats go to hissing,he goes bonkers and chases and bowls them over, especially this one.

How about Squirting your cat with water when it does something like that... if you do it consistantly the cat wont do it anymore.

The other thing you could do is grab your cat by the scruff of the neck and throw it against a wall the next time it attacks another cat.

Actually there is a neurological defect that can happen in cats. One of my girls has this problem. One minute she's fine the next all hells broke lose. Its kinda like angry turrets syndrome. You really should talk to your vet on the phone about his behavior the decide if he needs to be seen. It could be he's just being catty.

There is always one cat in the group that want to be boss so the cat is trying to dominate all of them so he gets to eat all the food and so he gets all the nice spots to sleep, I suggest seperating him from the others and if he gets nasty yell at him and say NO! he will soon stop.
Good luck.

If you have 4 cats you should have at least 5 litterboxes to make sure nobody gets left out.
