The tree of life was REAL. I'm not sure that it is still here on earth but according to

Genesis 2:9 And out of the ground made the LORD God to grow every tree that is pleasant to the sight, and good for food; the tree of life also in the midst of the garden, and the tree of knowledge of good and evil.

Genesis 3:22 And the LORD God said, Behold, the man is become as one of us, to know good and evil: and now, lest he put forth his hand, and take also of the tree of life, and eat, and live for ever:

Genesis 2:24 So he drove out the man; and he placed at the east of the garden of Eden Cherubims, and a flaming sword which turned every way, to keep the way of the tree of life.

So we see that according to Genesis, the tree was placed in the garden of Eden along with the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, but when God saw that Man had eaten from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, God basically sent them out of the garden of Eden and then placed Cherubims to guard it from ever being eaten..

But in Revelations chapter 22, the bible says that it was in God's paradise [perhaps Eden] and now its in heaven on both sides of a river that is in heaven.

You can rest asure that the tree was real, it was not a symbolic thing, because if it was, then the forbidden fruit was symbolic too and then that would mean that Adam and Eve never ate of the forbidden fruit and there never was a garden of Eden...... So believe that bible, not those that contradict the scriptures.

I hope this information helped. God bless you with your search.

No. Most religions "of the book" (Christianity, Judiaism, and Islam) interpret the story of the Garden of Eden as mankind deciding to become more than animal life because of moral knowledge (the knowledge or right vs. wrong; the fruit of the tree).

Yes, it IS real. Acording to Jewish history, it was removed from the Garden of Eden afte the fall of Adam and is now in Heaven. God couldn't take the chance of Adam or Eve eating from it after having eaten from the Tree of the Knowledge of Good and Evil. However, acording to Revelations, it will be free for all to eat from who enter into Heaven.

do you mean the phylogenic tree of life??? like this one?

please specify. if that's the tree you mean, then i DO believe that all life has a single common ancestor, and i believe a lot of the vaguer groupings are probably true. but no doubt, the more intricate parts definitely have flaws. we'll probably never know all the answers.

yes. that is why god made adam and eve leave the garden of eden after eating from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil.so they would not be tempted to eat of that tree and become like onto gods themselves.

The tree of life is a symbol of christ and the fruit is the atonement.

Certainly is. If God said it then its true.
God is not a man that he should lie, nor a son of man that he should change his mind, does he speak and then not act? Does he promise and not fulfill? Numbers 23:19

Yes, we had one drawn up for a family reunion that covered the entire table. It listed married couples, their children, grand children, nieces, nephews, very interesting.

It is a metaphor that I use to help me understand the concepts of my deities and myself. As above, so below.

In Revelation -- metaphorical -- but God could make it literal in the future.

Cordially,
