Or are they like unicorns? Nice to think about, but completly imaginary. Can anyone shed some light? Don't get me wrong, I love men, but I need some evidence that there are decent ones out there.

Please note: Not looking for perfection, just looking for "not a total as*".

Decent men to who's standard?

Women and men have very different ideas of a "decent man". If you've ever watch good friends break up, you'll realize that the two sides really didn't see things the same way.

There are plenty of guys out their who are going their best, but they'll still disappoint you once in a while. Odds are that you really disappointed your boyfriends at some point as well.

Bomb is totally right about picking up nice guys. Church and the library are your best bets even if you don't pray or read.

Yes we do exist. Take it from a man who is speaking from experience. When a real man such as myself treats a woman with respect, gives her not what she wants all the time, but what she needs. Takes care of her and is there for on a mental, emotional, spiritual, and physical level. Does all the small things in a big way. Keeps his hands off her, never calls her out of her name, nor cheats on her...I have found that MOST women don't appreciate that and take it for granted. At the same time Men do the same to the few GOOD women out there. Where are you meeting these men, how long do you get to know them before getting involved?

Yeah. Guys like that are out there. But most of the time were too lazy to treat women properly. Or too egotistical to admit that our woman deserves our respect. And most of them are too shy to get into a relationship.

Yes there are still gentlemen in the world. I dated a guy once who would open car doors for me, or any door at all for that matter. He always made me feel comfortable in his presence and always mindful of my needs. So yes, whilst they are not common, these men do exist.

Yes, we are there. We are just tired of hearing from all of our attractive friends that are girls that we are "such a catch and any girl would be lucky to have you in their lives."
No really, we are out here just living our lives and living each day to the fullest.

There are lots of them out there.
It's finding a woman to treat a man proper, that's the problem.
