It varies with the person .... what is ideal for one guy is a nightmare for another. Just as with you, what your best friend finds ideal, you may cringe at!
A good match is what we are all looking for. And a good match is when you have things in common, enjoy similar activities, can laugh at each others jokes and foibles, can appreciate the strengths and live with the weaknesses that person has, and they with yours.

I agree with stopherca. Just show your guy your true self. Don't put on a fake act, always show him how you feel about him and rest assured, it will be reciprocated. Honestly, loyalty, integrity, having all those values are sure to make you a keeper, amongst a whole heap more.
That's my opinion.

ok this is only my opinion but my definition of the perfect gf would be a girl thats fun, loving , compationate, and not stuck up, be happy with yourself, just love yourself in a humble kind of way and outhers will love you dont love yourself in a conceded way or you will drive them away

showing that you will do anything to keep him, and to show him that he is the one. My girlfriend shows me that every time I'm with her, i just don't know how to show it back yet
