i had a friend who found out all the hot spots for career oriented people (like attorneys, doctors) to eat lunch. they tend to go the the same places. she made a point of eating there several times a week until her face was familiar and then she could strike up small talk with the regulars, as she was one too. she ended up meeting nice people and eventually married one. she said she figured out this method since bars don't work well and she wanted to find available people of quality.

online! No, just kidding.....just do the things you like to do....hobbies, etc, and you are bound to meet someone who enjoys the same things you do. Also, I've heard it said that church is the best place to find a date. Can't vouch for whether it's true or not, but it's certainly worth a shot! :P

Well . . clubs aren't nesicarily bars . . unless you don't like them either . . then just at like a coffee shop or even the store . . just use a pickup line as long as it isn't cheesy and maybe you'll get a date!

Out shopping is surely a place, also stop at the colonge counter and ask the pretty girl if she can help you...select something.

There is the grocery store, library, retail store. Just bout anywhere people go is a place to try.

you gotta get out and about. go out for coffee with you friends and stuff. join a gym and do pilates or something! use your friends to get introduced to new people.

Or partys are good. get friends to bring friends.
