Maybe it's psychological. I feel the same way. I go to the refrigerator when I am not hungry. I think I eat because it's like "comfort food". I mean when I get sad, I eat ice cream.

Is there something bothering you? Because if you're going through a rough time and you have a lot on ur mind, that mind push you to eat more. Another possibility is that you eat whenever you're bored. Do you get out enough and keep yourself occupied doing things? Because if you kept yourself busy then you wouldnt have time to be thinking about food.

i know what u mean, my uncle thats a personal trainer, was talking to me about this the other day.....its all in your head, mind over matter....if you let your mind control your hunger....you will always eat....think about it like this...you just ate a good portioned meal, meat veggies friut and carbs, but you feel u should get a second helping...thats when u need to stop yourself and say no, my body doesnt tell me when i need more food bc my mind controls it.....basically when u control the need to eat, you wont eat, you'll get full with good sized portions!!! im sorry if i was confusing....if anything email me and ill explain better krispiemeow@yahoo.com

There's two things that are likely: either you aren't getting the right nutrients, or else it's psychological. Talk to a doctor or nutritionist to find out which.

It is common to compensate emotional problems with food. You may be upset, unhappy, needing a cuddle, a rest etc. There can be lots of reasons.
