What about aunts?

Please don't step on the ants. However it is okay to step on the aunts.

i dont think so but it could be taking a life from a ant but u could also be doing it a favor by not making it work so much.so it could and could not be a sin maby u should go to a church and ask a father or nun for the answer im just guessing.so dont be afriad until u know if it is a sin or not if it isnt oh well dont have to worry on the other hand the ant could have had a family!!!!!if it did and u killed a ant with a family u better not step on another one plz its very mean to the ant race like u could like bunnys and some1 hates them just make sure not to step on another ant til u get da answers.

My question is why does something have to be a "sin" to be morally wrong? Cant we, as thinking and feeling intelligent beings, determine on our own what is right and what is wrong? Why do we need some figurative parent in the sky to tell us not to do something we can figure out on our own not to do. If you feel the urge to kill ants for no good reason, or aunts, then ya its WRONG. Invasion of your home by ants (or aunts) is a good reason in my book and I really don't care what anyone else wrote in some other old dusty book.

Ants do not have souls, so therefore it is not a sin. However I believe if you step on your Aunt with intent to hurt then yes that is a sin.

This depends on several things.
First, if you knowingly step on the ants, then yes it is a sin.
Second, If the ants are a threat to you, and you see stepping on them as a way to protect yourself, then no it is not a sin.
Third, If the ants are close to your home and you fear them getting in there and biting you, then no it is not a sin.
Fourth, it depends on how many ants there are and how hard it is to avoid stepping on them.
Fifth, you should consider yourself in the place of the ants and ask yourself, "would you want someone to step on you?"

The consensus at my ant farm is 2% no, if it's by accident;95% yes,under any circumstances;3% had no opinion.
As far as stepping on aunts,that's just silly!

Its ok to step on Ants (not intentionaly).
And its also OK to step inside Aunts.

if sin is understood as guilt it all depends on you
what you feel about it, if you are saying if it is good or evil to step on ants think that they are a plague that acts against your adequate survival and decide.

crush every ant you find!!!! (I've recently had an ant problem at home, so I'm a little hostile toward them. lol)
