amen, amen, amen, amen......................................................
Since "amen" means "so be it" I wish I could just "amen" this into all of our lives. (And don't neglect those of other faiths.) Of course, that would mean there might be peace on earth, so that might be the end of times.....................................
Edit: Yes we DO all worship the same God--there IS only one! And to those nuts who keep saying the only "way" is through Jesus, don't you guys ever listen to what Jesus said?? When asked which was the greatest Commandment, He said, "Love God with all your heart, and love your neighbor as yourself."

Islam, Judiasm, and Christianity are religions that developed in different time periods. First Judiasm developed from Moses and the religion later became corrupted and was no longer the true and correct word of God because man messed with the words in the holy scriptures. So God sent Jesus as a messenger to preach Christianity and soon Christianity underwent the same fate. Therefore, God sent the final religion of Islam as the true and uncorrupted word of God. Therefore, this points to the similarities between the 3 religions. But along with it, there are differences. These differences lead to contradiction and confusion. People dislike confusion so they compete for the truth and claim their side is the right side. Therefore we now have sides disagreeing with each other. Disagreement leads to tension and tension leads to war. So we can conclude from all this that yes we were taught to learn how to get along with each other in the first place but we screwed it up and brought war upon our ownselves. God is at zero fault.

Excellent question. The root of it comes down to one person. Abraham. Abraham was the father of all three faiths. God said that he would have decendents that would out number the stars. Well, he is the father of the Arab nation, Christian nation, and Jewish nation. He is the one person all three faiths tend to agree on. In the Bible, you can read that Abraham had a child out of wedlock. That child, Ishmael, was ostrasized by Sara, Abraham's wife. She drove him and his mother away. The decendants of that child grew to become the Arab nation and the Islamic nations. Abraham's son Isaac, whose mother was Sara, had became the Jewish nation. Ishmael and Isaac did not get along because Abraham favored Isaac because Isaac was the only son by his true wife Sara. Jews were promised the land of Canaan by God, in which Arabs occuppied and that is why the region is still fighting today. Now, Jesus Christ also came from the blood line of Abraham. Christ is the father of Christianity. But, the Jews had Christ crucified. But, if you do not believe in Christ you are not a believer in the one true God. That is Biblical prophesy. So, as you can see it is all a family matter. Jealousy, betrayal and animosity. Like your normal everyday family reunion.

I am a Christan. Yeah its dumb to put each other down. But a lot of (what we call) big things that are differences about the religions. Also they are vary similar, so some of us feel like they are the copy cat religions and we are the right one. I think people are mad about this mainly. It puts people in a state of Erny that there's this other religion that is so close to yours and there's nothing they can do to convert or change that. After a wile people get made. Not to mention each one things the other is going to hell. So its a caring and frustrating area.

I personally do not put others down for their religions-my ancestors came to America to have religious freedom. As far as the same God-this isn't exactly correct, there are subtle differences between these groups, so when it comes to all the mentioned religions believing in a similiar single God is where the problem starts. You can blame the Anti-god for this. It serves his purpose to have us seperate and discriminate among our single God. It is our fault for letting the anti-god do this to us.

I have no argument with you. We do indeed worship the same God. It is interesting how many of us want to limit or interpret who God is and argue over how He chose to each group to worship and serve Him. We seem to want to limit the way He is understood. He is mighty, wonderful and loving...there is enough of Him for all of us. He made us all in love and instructed us all to love each other. I cannot berate or put down someone God created.

Joh 5:23 That all men should honour the Son, even as they honour the Father. He that honoureth not the Son honoureth not the Father which hath sent him.
technically muslims dont belive Jesus is God so we don't worship the same God. As for Jews they still don't know that Jesus is the messiah even though they pray to Jehovah (Jesus) Our views are different, but Jesus is THE major factor in all our disputes. read the gospels. peace.

1 John, chapter 3
23: And this is his commandment, that we should believe in the name of his Son Jesus Christ and love one another, just as he has commanded us.
1 John, chapter 4
7: Beloved, let us love one another; for love is of God, and he who loves is born of God and knows God.
11: Beloved, if God so loved us, we also ought to love one another.
12: No man has ever seen God; if we love one another, God abides in us and his love is perfected in us.
John, chapter 13
34: A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another; even as I have loved you, that you also love one another.
John, chapter 15
12: "This is my commandment, that you love one another as I have loved you.
17: This I command you, to love one another.
Romans, chapter 12
10: love one another with brotherly affection; outdo one another in showing honor.
Romans, chapter 13
8: Owe no one anything, except to love one another; for he who loves his neighbor has fulfilled the law.
1 Thessalonians, chapter 4
9: But concerning love of the brethren you have no need to have any one write to you, for you yourselves have been taught by God to love one another;
2 John, chapter 1
5: And now I beg you, lady, not as though I were writing you a new commandment, but the one we have had from the beginning, that we love one another.
and yes we do worship the same god its just humans feel the need to be better then one another
and to add to one guys statement GOD and Jesus are not the same person GOD IS GOD Jesus is the son of GOD and also the word. Jesus is the alpha and the omega "the beginning and the end" GOD has no beginning or a end. How can God sit on his on right hand. another would be why would God pray to him self asking for this cup to be lifted off of him if he was GOD. another thing why would he say FATHER forgive them they know not what they do. GOD can not die and Jesus did. if Jesus was god then the whole suffering and dying was a trick. so see how they cant be the same, but what they are is one in agreement they agree with each other. people who think they are the same person need to go back and read the bible again

It's the classic problem. All the religions think they have a monopoly on Ultimate Truth, and they will NOT accept any argument to the contrary. It is indeed sad, but with human beings it is also unfortunately inevitable.
