Talking to yourself can just be a "quirk", but in your case, it sounds like a sign of depression, especially since it seems uncontrolled. Talk to your physician, and see what he thinks. If he thinks it is depression, you can treat it with drugs like Zoloft, or by talking to a good counselor.

hey honey, thats not normal at all. it sound like you aren't feeling very good about yourself and you should find someone that you really trust to talk to. it doesn't have to be a head shrinker or a psycologist nessisarily but just someone to listen to you. why are you feeling like you want to die? whats going on in your life right now that you are feeling this way? these are things that you need to sort out. good luck and keep your head up.life can get hard but with some help and support you will make it through!

While talking to yourself is entirely normal, the subject matter of your internal discussions are not. This is a deeper issue than just talking to oneself. Do you really feel that way? If so, I advise you to seek professional help.

you sound exasperated and fed up, discouraged or such. and you are experiencing negative self talk, which is usually internal...like you think to yourself 'i'm ugly', i'm useless, this is bad, i want to just go away', etc. you are saying it out loud instead. it's a habit of negativity and it doesn 't mean you're crazy. but it's better to stop it as it brings you down and leads to depression.

What you describe sounds like clinical depression. See a doctor asap so you can get the help you need to feel better. Do it soon, okay?

Its just a habit you picked up try something like this....put a rubber band around your wrist and everytime you catch yourself saying that pull the rubber band out and snap it on your wrist and make it hurt and eventually you will quit saying stuff like that to yourself.

Define normal. Maybe you could talk to someone you trust and love, not these people on this site.

find something that makes you happy and dwell on that. whether it's a crush, a friend, a game, family, a pet, or just watching nature.

You need help. Get an appointment with a psychiatrist or something.
