I want to say like most Ive seen some really bad things cops have done 1st hand my son was beaten real bad a few years back BUT on the other hand Ive seen some caring cops that will do there up most to help in anyway
i feel a lot of cops try and help there are just a few bad apples just like any were you always get the few that ruin the reputation for others
i feel they have a real hard job to do and one i would not be able to do
because of bully boy actions of some cops i think the real true cop has a real bad time
for the real true cop i big them up every time wish there were more around
but for the bully boy cops i wish they were found out and something was done to make them feel how they make a citizen feel when they treat them so bad
respect
shaz

I do simply cause the alternative is mass chaos and lawlessness and i have had many run-ins with police and I am white and educated but not great on common sense ! When arrested say nothing , buy the best lawyers money can buy and you usually walk and if you can not afford the best do not do the crime cause you will do the time !!! America inAl Pacinos immortal words is a wonderful country - you get all the justice you can afford to buy !!!! great country folks !!!!!

I absolutly do. I work as a dispatcher and 911 operator, and I can tell you from personal experience that when I started this job, I had a negative outlook on the justice system for my own reasons, but that the group I work with now has shown me that this job is more than traffic tickets and warrants. There's more to this job than anyone knows, and you have to an empathic humble person to do what we do on a daily basis.

Yes, I support law enforcement personnel. Retired USAF, as are my wife, my father, and most of my friends. Law and Order...

Gee, sorry that some of the folks are not mature enough to realize that there are lots of rules, and you either learn them, or get busted!

A bit of wisdom. Police only enforce the law. Being human, they can mis-interpret facts. Don't object or argue with them, be supportive of their duty to maintain the peace.

Just wait until you get before the judge to let your facts be known! That will reflect well on you!

Support in General because they provide a necessary service.

I find most police, however, when dealing with the general public ( I have worked with them on a professional level) are narcissistic and treat many like criminals. They hang with themselves and many don't have any relationships outside the police! They also do a lot of illegal and inhumane things that I have personally watched that the general public never gets to see!

Both yes and no. Yes because there are times where we need people to enforce the laws of the state. No because law enforcement has taken some things way too far.

In general yes, even though just about everyone I know has had run ins with them. They are necesary for society to work but I do think cops are on a power trip.

Yes. Although there are some bad apples out there, most take their duties seriously, thereby providing an invaluable service for those of us who depend every day on their enforcement of the legal ordering of society.

Call me a little innocent, but in general I do. I was raised out in the middle of nowhere though where they actually helped people when needed and a stupid kid was generally brought home to their parents for them to deal with it rather than straight to Juvenile Hall.

Cops should be supported. They have the job of protecting us. Often this involves following a system that many disagree with.
