my granma she 65 and she could barly go up the steps she says because her hips hurt shes realy scaring me right now any idvice ..please

She probably has arthritis in her hips she needs a warm therapy water class and a good doctor to help her manage her pain. But believe it or not movement is very good for her . Get her some Chondrotin it is a supplement

make sure or try to talk her into going to the doctor. she may be under a doctors care now and yes, her hip probably does hurt her. can she move, or your family move her things to the bottom floor so she does not have to climb the stairs? your family needs to make sure she is cared for.

take her to the doctor and get an xray- i know someone who got a plastic one about her age and she had the same thing but the new hip work wonderfully

you need to have your grandmom talk to her dr. about getting an osteoprosis exam. in post-menopausal women,thinning of the bones is very common. there are medicines to help the bone to regrow. she could have thinning of the lumbar vertebrae or hips or both and have these symptoms.

i thinks she has a point ther a woman i talked to started taking coral calciunm and she said she felt much better after a while.for now a cane may help

hmm, ask her to walk slowly. you can help her up the steps. its probably because her bones are weaker now due to a lack of calcium.
