You open a door to the spirit realm within yourself and something can come through it. If you don't know what you're doing you can find yourself in all kinds of trouble. To prevent it? Don't dabble in spiritual things that you don't understand...no matter how much fun you think you'll have. Anything related to the spirit world like Ouija boards and things along those lines can open the door because you're interested and welcome it...

You become possessed when you open yourself up to the things of Satan !! The longer you ignore God's word, the stronger hold Satan has on your life. He lies to you and tells you that if you are having a good time, or something you are doing wrong feels good, and.....everybody else is doing it, then how can it be wrong. Satan specializes in the sins of the flesh, that is where we are most vulnerable!

when you are sinning and have a space left for the devil to fill. If you are dabbling in evil things such as magic.
To prevent it stay close to God and try not to sin and say no to the devil.
And if it does happen, try to get help!

you have to meditate on dark thoughts. It is not something that just happens. Although if you are mentally ill, it can happen without any conscious effort on your part.

You can prevent it by prying your eyes off your Xbox. Maybe find a girl-friend? Naming your Xbox doesn't count either.....
