I recently uninstalled and reloaded windows XP and now for some reason I get a option screen during boot up that gives me the choice of loading Windows XP or Windows Recovery Console. At the bottom it say press F8 for troubleshooting . It takes me to a screen that gives me options in Safe Mode, some other things i can't recall, and start windows normally. Of course I chose start windows normally. But the screen still comes up everytime I reboot. How do I get rid of this?

When you uninstalled Windows, how did you do this? Did you re-format the drive? If not then this may be why you get this menu. You are stuck in repeir mode... Also, this may sound stupid, but is there a CD in the drive when you boot up?

The password you be conscious is contained in the BIOS, so reinstalling living house windows did no longer some thing. attempt searching on "eliminate BIOS password" and the kind of the computer in question. There should be a thanks to eliminate it. you could also bypass into the BIOS setup exhibit screen(s) and see in case you could eliminate it from there. ~~ ScienceMikey
