No matter what kind of dog you have, when you live in an apartment you need to walk the dog alot. Yes, it is possible, but please be fair to the dog, walk him lots and play with him. Its not fun to be stuck in a small apartment for long periods.

Honey if I could have two Great Danes in a 975 sq foot apt then I don't see why you couldn't have a Maltese. Just make sure you give the dog lots of exercise, or you will wind up with one strung out dog full of pent up energy and you might wind up less a few pair of shoes, a couch, or other things for the frustrations it can cause.

A Maltese, they dont shed, have a low pitched voice, and in common words want 0.5 an hour walk. you could also living house prepare them to go potty on a mat and use information paper for the pad! I genuinely have a Morkie, Maltese and Yorkie blend, she barks at people walking with the help of yet looks content textile in the living house. they are finished of means yet now to not the point the position they are uncontrolled. visit a community protect they have small, non laying off breeds that would fit your criteria. wish this permits!

I would suggest to start looking for an apartment that allows pets before you get the dog or you will wind up having to get rid of the dog after much love and money spent. Its very hard to find a place to take pets anymore. Good Luck.

It depends on your apartment, ask the people you are renting it from. Some apartments you can have any size dogs, others you can't have any. Are you willing to pay the extra price to have a dog in the apartment?

Sure, they can also be litter box trained. However, they still need a lot of attention and some exercise.
