Mexico is a beautiful country, rich in history, culture and natural resources - what is there to hate? It is more likely that people might hate the Mexican government, which is so corrupt, at all levels, that the economic infrastructure cannot provide for its own citizens; or perhaps people might hate that the citizens of Mexico are fleeing their own country in order to meet their basic economic needs, rather than fighting for change in their own country; or perhaps people might hate the (relatively) small number of Mexican criminals who use the chaos of the emotionally-charged illegal immigration issue to deflect attention away from their trans-border illegal activities.

Guanajuato, Michoachan, Chiapas, etc., what's to hate??? I chose my nickname because it's my favourite State in Mexico. Who is someone? I lived on the Texas/Mexico border for a couple of decades and never met anyone who 'hated' Mexico. On the contrary, most 'gringos' I know love the place so much that they immerse themselves in Mexican culture, which is rich and colourful. Mexico and its people are beautiful and the food is fabulous!

What kind of question is that - who is someone anyway ? And why do they hate Mexico ? I've been there - it's a fantastic place and it's better than England - at least they allow you to work there - without constantly wanting a flaming license for everything - and they have some interesting land-owning rights aswell!

I think 1 in 10 Mexicans hate Mexico.
I see them running away from it like its the plague every day on the news. Millions of them running across the border!

Maybe republicans, who are reactionary on the most part and dislike immigration. Very Ironic as 99% of Americans are immigrants somewhere down the line.

I am surprised you're asking this as I am from that country and I love it unfortunately don't live there because I've built my roots here already. It's a beautiful country with it's faults just like any other.
