There's nothing wrong with not being touchy on a first date because you're not comfortable -- in fact, I really know how that feels. If you want to change that, realize that hugging isn't a really intimate thing; I hug guy friends even if I don't like them. When a guy walks me to the door after a date (especially a first date) it's really nice if we hug goodnight. It's not as awkward or intimate as a kiss or whatever, but it makes you feel special. It also doesn't mean that you necessarily have feelings for them that way, while showing that you do care about them and did have a good time on the date. I think holding hands on the second date (or third) sounds fine. Just start hugging earlier. When you're talking to her, try touching her arm when you're making a point, or rest your hand on her back if you're leaning around her, etc - again, these don't mean that you REALLY like them, but do show you're somewhat interested, and will keep her interested in you. Best of luck to you. You will figure things out as time goes on :)

You've screwed things up royally with her by not emphasizing sex right from the start.
Had you walked right up to her, looked her right in the eye, then whispered in her ear, "I want you", she would have taken the first socially acceptable (hey, want to go back to my place and, uhhh, watch a video) excuse to come back to your place and **** your brains out.
Instead, you thought you would be "nice" and take your time with her, hold her hand and be romantic. She is confused alright....confused about it you are a man or not. Most of her attraction for you has evaporated and she can't figure out why she doesn't want you any more.
To answer your question, you most certainly did do something wrong. You forgot to act like a man. If you do this again with a different chick, you will get the same result. Here's a plan. Do it my way, just once to see what happens. Don't argue about it or give me lame excuses. Just go out and try it. That will permanently dispel your illusions about women. Pay attention to what happens.

In my opinion, relationships move at their own pace. To put expectations on a timetable is limiting yourself. If the two people are moving through the relationship without any negative influences, then why does a kiss have to happen by the second, third, even tenth date if the two "click." Unreasoable expectations can strain what might be the greatest relationship of your life.

No, u didn't do anything wrong
You were very polite and sweet
You gotta be patient, maybe she didn't kiss u because she doesn't want to give u false ideas or ilusions about starting a new relationship because she is confused
Just give her time, and try to make sure she notice how much u like her... Try to solve her confucions and make u the winner of her heart
Good luck!

You didn't do anything wrong. It takes a lot of girls more than a first date to kiss someone. Just respect her wishes and play along by her rules. When the time is right you'll be glad that you did.

Not every girl kisses that early in a relationship. Don't worry about it.
