Please do not even attempt to iron your hair. the acute warmth destroys hair follicles. purchase a strong hair straightener. the adaptation is that the heating plates on straighteners have a coating that protects hair from intense harm, which irons do no longer have. Straighteners will nevertheless grant you with cut up ends in case you do it too a lot, regardless of the indisputable fact that that is a lot extra perfect than employing an iron and that's unbelievable except you want to bypass to a hair salon and get it completely straightened (that is a sturdy determination). i ought to also propose finding out to purchase a strong product to help with the frizz (it extremely is the most important problem with Indian hair and that i'm assuming you're Indian on the grounds that i'm on Yahoo! India), then you've extra perfect consequences with straightened hair.

to flat iron your hair won't damage it unless you do it TOO often and you do not moisturise your hair enough. Remember that the iron puts ur hair through high temperatures which isn't good for maintianing healthy hair.
your should either chemically str8 your hair
for a longer lasting temporary way maybe you should use a pressing comb. The str8ness lasts longer[2wk plus] and is not as harful but still invloves a lot of heat so with constant use can damage your hair
you can even texturise your hair

They have great flat irons out there and products to protect your hair while your using it. Go to your hair dresser and she can teach you how to use it. Both my girls have very think curly hair and straighen their hair every day. Just make sure u know how to use it before u start. You can turn it up too high and damage your hair.
Good Luck

Ironing your hair DON'T EVER DO THAT. It's horrible, because you can burn your hair out, also try going to the hair dresser and asking someone there about it. You might want to get your hair straighten and conditioned really well.

i too can have rough hair at times, but i've never tried ironing it! maybe with conditioner and a clean tea towel covering your hair might work but i suggest you buy some hair straighteners for a better job. you won't be happy if you scorch your hair!!!
