honestly, i have a lot of friends that are religious christians. for the most part, i think theyre all good people. its only the close-minded ones who think that all of us are terrorists that i have a problem with. its all a product of generalizations. muslims on the whole dont have a problem with america or christians, in fact we dont agree with the terrorists at all, we just catch a bad rap from people who associate us all with al qaeda and other terrorists.

You know not all Muslims think Americans/Christians are "infedels" - a goos majority of Muslims believe that America truly is the land of the free and a great Nation , Many Muslims from ALL over the world try to come to America for freedom and happiness. The problems with extremist Muslims are due to poverty and education - many poor muslims folk are educated by Radical muslims trying to gain support by brainwashing the poor and less fortunate - anthor reason for negative attitudes towards America by Muslims stems from America's foriegn policy that almost always seems to ignore the abuse and injustice towards Muslime all over the world - Israel has claims 3 times more lives than Palestinian - Kashmir is majority Muslim yet America backs India in controlling it instead of Paskistan, Many thousands of Bosnian Muslims were massacred before US intervention - The list goes on.

The qu'ran refers to christians and jews as "the people of the book." this means that these people of different religions are non muslims who still believe in god and become accustomed to their religion through birth and grow up to live according to their christian or jewish beliefs. Islam, however, regards judaism and christianity to be distorted religions, and therefore, not the true religion of god. Although TRUE muslims believe that jews and christians are following the incorrect religion, it does not mean they will go to hell for they will be judged by the good deeds they did in life. But the Christians and Jews who come to realize the supreme being of Allah in the religion of Islam and fail to adhere to islamic beliefs, will then go to hell. Islam also commands the Muslims to treat the Jews and Christians with kindness and war is allowed only if under attack by the people of the book. This holy war to preserve Islam is regarded as "Jihad" which is commonly misunderstood to be just another terrorist regime. In addition, many Jews and Christians will go to heaven simply for being good people although most people will undergo painfull punishments in the life after death before they enter the kingdom of heaven for the evil deeds they did in life, unless they repent. Islam also teaches that no soul shall carry not even one sin before they enter heaven. Therefore, it teaches that every single wrong thing you do, you shall be punished for it, unless you repent. La illaha illa Allah.. May peace be with you.

Infidels The lot of us! TAKFIR!

Death for Muslims who fail to pray
Mogadishu
July 7, 2006
AdvertisementAdvertisement
Somali Muslims who fail to perform daily prayers will be killed in accordance with Koranic law under an edict issued by a leading cleric.
The requirement for Muslims to pray five times a day under penalty of death appears to confirm the hard-line nature of the increasingly powerful Sharia courts in the Somali capital, Mogadishu.
"He who does not perform prayers will be considered as infidel and Sharia law orders that that person be killed," said Sheikh Abdalla Ali, a founder and high-ranking official in the Supreme Islamic Council of Somalia.
"Sharia law orders the killing of any Muslim person when he fails to perform prayers," he said in an address at the opening of a new Islamic court in Mogadishu's southern Gubta neighbourhood.

To find answer to your question I will request you to read Al-Quran 5:82, and note that no slim is a Muslim if he/she does not follow the commandment of Allah as recorded in the Al-Quran, as Muslim means total submitter. for your convenience I am writing down the translation for you: "Strongest among men in enmity to the Believers (Muslims) will though find the Jews and Pagans; And nearest among them in love to the Believers will thou find those who say, 'We are Christians': Because amongst these are men who have renounced the world, and they are not arrogant".

Are you asking me for my Quranic point of view or my own point of view?
If by Quranic point of view, we were told and taught to avoid and hate disbelievers of Islam (idolators, criminals, atheists, etc.)
In my own open-minded point of view, I have nothing against Americans or Christians (except for the Christians who murdered by grandparents). Most Americans and Christians are good people. It's their leaders and policies who are not.
That's my very honest opinion.
