Well you might ought to call a vet to be absolutely sure, but I can't really imagine it hurting him. Dogs have been known to ingest all sorts of gross disgusting stuff with no problems. Baby oil is really a very mild substance. It is, after all used on a baby's skin. And I don't think the oil would hurt him.
While I have no experience with dogs, I can tell you that my cat likes to eat Vaseline. The vet said it wouldn't hurt him, and would only help him pass hairballs. He said it is sometimes recommended to put a little cooking oil into their food to help them with this.

Keep his water bowl full -- I'm sure he'll thank you. My dog actually went wild in my toiletry closet once and ingested baby oil, lotion, bath gel, AND soap -- he didn't sleep well and he had diarrhea for a week, but he's still wagging his tail, so you should be just fine. However, if you love your furry friend as much as I do you may want to consult with a vet to be sure. (I did!) It can't hurt, when you love them. Keep a close eye on him, and make his sleeping area as comfortable as possible -- I recommend extra pillows and a towel fresh out the dryer. If his stomach goes into shock and begins to bother him, he'll love the warmth and fluffiness when he's trying to sleep. I hope this helps, and pat him on the head and rub behind his ears for me. Any canine is a friend of mine. My dog's name is TUx -- I Heart U Tux!! Again, good luck, and def call up a vet to be sure. This is your best friend we're talking about here. ; - )

Actaully, baby oil can be fatal if it gets in the lungs. It can cause pneumonia and cause breathing problems due to it's oil base.
I would call poison control and ask thier advice.

At least he won't be constipated!! Just keep him away from chocolate and onions and garlic. And dog-proof your house, for crying out loud.

Make sure he can get outside quickly since it will act like a laxative.
