It's never too early to start your child in school. I was an Au Pair in Belgium and their children start school at three. In England where My Husband is stationed currently the children there start at age 4, they finish at 16 and then go to a two year trade school. Most ( men and women ) have to do mandatory military service as well... We are one society who is way behind in education.
In Belgium they have two native languages in the country French and Flemish, the children there have to learn those languages plus a mandatory two more. Give your daughter the benefit she deserves. She may surprise you.. she can probably go longer than two hours, most kids have resilience that we once had at their age... Good luck !! Enjoy every step of her journey and help her enjoy it. If she learns at an early age to enjoy school, she will remain committed to it. I did.

No way is it too soon. I had my daughter enrolled 2 days a week for a half day preschool last year when she turned 3. She'll be going 3 days a week this school year and she can't wait! Find a little church program for your daughter, she will have a blast! Good luck.

Not at all. Where I live, a child can go to preschool at age 3 if potty trained for a full day with a nap. The full day is 6 hours.

Go for it! My son started school a little early because he was so smart. He skipped a few grades as the years went by. We were concerned about his size being a problem with older kids, but it wasn't a problem at all since he was going to a private church school.
He turned 18 in May. In June he graduated both highschool and collage with his Associates of Arts degree.

No it is the prefect time especially if she is smart 2 hours is not a long time and she will be way ahead of the game come kindergarten. Now is a good time for her to get accustomed to other children her age and how to inter act with them especially if she is presently an only child. Go ahead it is gonna be harder on you then it will be on her but it's time mommy, practice letting go and then get used to it.

Don't just go on "smarts". Is she socially ready to enter "school"?
I would be hesitant on doing that - my sister had her youngest in school too early, and he wasn't socially ready. He ended up having to repeat a grade, which hurt him a lot, and was much more embarrassing to him.
Have him tested by a reputible preschool. They will tell you if she is ready or not. But don't rush it - she has plenty of time for advancing later if she is truly a "gifted" student.

It is NEVER too soon to guide our children into better paths!
give it a try for a few months and see how it's working for you both.
In my experience, the majority of "trouble children" out there, are smart children that are bored with standards--that they supersede!
Good luck!

No way....she will be happy to see others of her age group and learn to share, play with toys. It will also give u some time to yourself which is very important. Sometimes its just guilt that stops us fm doing the best
