First of all I want u to know that I am not an idiot. If there is one Idiot and that is u for wanting to pierce the poor dogs ear. This is not a wise decision as dogs ears get dirtier than a persons ears and infection can occur more easily. The dog can also scratch at their ear with its claws and tear the earring out. Still want to pierce the dogs ear, well this is stupidity on your part and a selfish act of your wants and not the dogs. The dog doesn't care if its ear is pretty or not and can care less if its ear is pierced. You are just being an idiot.

Peircing your dogs ear is not a good idea. Your dog can reach their ear with their hind leg to scratch and potentially rip an earring out of the ear. You may then end up with a heft vet bill or a dead dog if you aren't around when it happens and there is too much blood loss. There are major veins that run through the ears, as well as cartelidge that can be damaged permanently.
I know you asked that no one write back unless they are answering your question, but I suspect that no one is going to intelligently answer this question and I just wanted you to be aware of the possible risks you are taking if you proceed.

The reason She/he pit the question that way is becauce its not the first time he/she asks the question.
They where are RIGHT and these people are right.
It goes beyond right or wrong to do....Its not possible with out risking your dogs life. The only ime I have ever seen it is on a pit bull and it died a few mins later in a dog fight (I was there investigating not participating)
Please do some research like the one above said and u will see its a BAD idea not just WRONG/.

That is so cruel! You don't deserve a great companion like a dog, you deserve to have NO animals at all! If the RSPCA heard that, then your dog would get taken off you! Why would you want to pierce you dog's ear anyway? Your dog will feel uncomfortable and may be in pain.......do you seriously want all that just so your dog will look cool? But I can tell you, it won't look cool, it is a stupid idea and I hope, no I demand that you won't go through with that!

Do some research on dogs and you should come to the conclusion that it is an aw full idea. I am not sure why you asked the question because in your question you knew the kind of response you would get.

Smiple answer don't do it. I know you do not abuse your dog you were just wondering. If you want to go somewhere to get it done do not do it yourself. I would say on the tip about 1/2 to 1 inch down.

My canines is conscious my sons call. I ask her to locate Oskar and she or he runs to him. that's likely because he's in common words a toddler and that i'm continuously putting forward his call, and were at living house most of the day so she's listening to me call his call a lot :)
